History
The 50days Movement Retreat project was born in 2022, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the birth of Contact Improvisation in 1972.
The anniversary marks the beginning of a journey that combines the desire to create a community based on values such as mutualism and collaboration, with my personal experience in Group Facilitation and Contact Improvisation.
The first edition held in the spring of 2022, ran for 50 consecutive days, hosting dozens of participants and teachers from all over the world. Since then, the project has established itself as a benchmark for dance retreats, focusing on Contact Improvisation, contemporary dance and holistic bodywork practices.
Mission
50 Days Movement Retreat promotes intensive retreats and workshops that combine dance, body exploration and holistic practices, creating an environment of learning and exchange. Each event offers the opportunity to immerse oneself in an artistic and personal research, supported by a temporary community based on connection and collaboration.
50days Movement Retreat aims to continue this journey, expanding its offerings and deepening the connection between movement, community and body awareness.

I began to be interested in cooking when I was 4 years old, in my maternal grandmother’s kitchen in Colombia among delicious, fragrant delicacies of all kinds. It was always from her that I began to collect wild herbs to play with, and as I grew up, my curiosity increased, so I began to explore the flavors of various cuisines. Around the age of 19, I encountered Macrobiotic Cuisine, also full of the philosophy of the connection of food with the elements and with the body, mind, and spirit. Food as pleasure, care, balance, and observing popular wisdom in Mediterranean cuisine.
I respect, over time through traditions, and seasonality, the great contribution of Mother Earth, with her gifts, fruits, nuts, and wild herbs inventing new dishes, exploring new and old ingredients that sustain life.

I love what I do, I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to host people, give them the chance to dance, meet each other and be alive.
I’ve been dancing since I was a child, an old photo remind me at the age of 5 in front of a concert where I left a hole in the ground.
I’m graduated in 2014 at the Academic of Physical Theatre in Torino.
I studied contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation dance since 2011 in professional programs and festival around the world.
Since 2018 I start to share my passion for CI, teaching, organizing, focalizing events and keep studying.I went to Colombia in 2018 to work in different organizations, Uni National, Academia artes Guerrero, Festival Iberoamericano teaching CI dance.
Then I went in the US in 2019, sharing the practice and meeting the local CI community, specially in New york and in Northampton MA. I lived here three months at Earthdance Community, I meet Karen Nelson and Nancy Stark Smith among others.
I have the project “ Soundscape with Nancy’s Stark Smith Interview”, I brough it at Nortdanz Festival, Italy Contact Camp and Spazio il Mulino.
I love music and DJing for informal party.
Since 2021 I’m studying Group Facilitation, how to lead group with awareness and care, following “Delfino” by FacilitArte organization. In 2022, in a Taiji-Qi Gong retreat with Sarah Tulivu, I was delight by the idea of founding a place where CI is at home.
50days Movement Retreat is born in springtime 2022, a place where dance, experiment and caring each other.
Actually I’m studying a MA in Pedagogy of Organization and Lifelong Learning for Adults at University of Siena.
I teach regular classes of CI and Physical Theatre in Siena and the surrounding.
